Try Pero... it is a drink that is made of Barley and all you do is add water ... I added some cinnamon to give it a little more flavor.

I have Barley Grass in my web shop. I have through feedback found that people get very positive results from this product and it does not have the strong taste of the non New Zealand Barley. But i must agree with what as been said about the colour it more looks like something that should be poured onto the garden but again the proof is in the pudding

Hi Jim,
Caught your blog on Barley leaf juice and thought I might add that the best barley leaf juice powder is not grass that is dried and ground to a powder. It's important to find out how that green powder is being processed. It should be harvested when very young and then immediately juiced. The "AIM Barleylife" is such a product and immediately after juicing it is spray dried at low temperatures to insure the enzymes remain intact along with all the other nutrients. Glad to hear you are taking it, I have for years.

We'll probably try it in another form- milkshakes or smoothies or something. It's the texture that's offensive, but as I remember it, it wasn't bad in a milkshake. We're trying to get healthier, too.

That is too bad you have a negative memory associated with Barley Grass juice. When I saw it I sure didn't expect to like it, but hearing how healthy it was I decided it was worth a shot. I was surprised to like it, but even if I didn't I would probably drink it for the benefits.

My mom went through a Barley Green kick. I had to drink it every morning before school. Then, I got sicker than sick one morning because I reacted badly to an herbal supplement (wormword) washed down with Barley Green. It was one of the most humiliating and miserable experiences of my life (happened in seminary).

So. . . I'd rather eat:

6.5 servings of spinach
7 oranges
4 servings of whole wheat flour

and take the supplements and vitamins individually, than ever drink another drop of Barley Green.

Glad you're enjoying it, though! ;)
